心理卫生学院和麻风病疗养院的共同点，就是关注一般社会人士不敢接触或不想接触的人士。这些病患默默承受着异样眼光，心理上对善意的关怀相当敏感，珍惜让他们突破身心局限，过正常人生活的机会。这也是万国这个地区长期以来所体现的生命价值。
