王先生被派去樟宜机场T4行李处理区工作，

为了方便工作他持有机场的季度通行证，这样他就能进入机场的限制区工作。

从去年3月28日到11月20日，王先生在没有工作的情况下，

前后48次使用通行证从员工入口处进入T2的出境转机区。

今年1月15日机场的警署接到情报，知道王先生没有工作的时候也会用通行证进入转机区购买免税商品。

警方经过调查后将王先生逮捕，王先生承认自己这样的确是因为贪心，因为想赚更多的钱！

无论王先生有什么原因，他的行为毕竟触犯了法律，昨天他被控上法庭，

他承认48项触犯保护区和保护地法令的控诉，被判坐牢3周和罚款8000新元。

因为工作原因能够利用通行证进出新加坡机场免税区的小伙伴们，

一定要提前了解好在免税店购物的相关规定，

不要等到像王先生这样被判监、罚款了才悔不当初！

新加坡警方提醒大家，樟宜机场过境区是受保护地区，

持登机牌进入过境区的乘客，必须是为了搭飞机到另一个地点。

无意出境，却滥用登机证的人，将在受保护地区法令下被控，

如果罪名成立，可被判罚款高达2万元，或坐牢长达两年，或两者兼施。
