“第一，要准备好时间和体力，因为新国大教学严格，连续多日每天8小时的课程，对体力和精力都是很大的挑战，但累并快乐着，只有在这种教学严谨和辛苦付出的环境下历练，才会获得真正的收获。 第二，调整好心态，在学习的过程中会遇到各种挑战和问题、甚至是冲突，但这都是学习经历中重要的一部分。清零、把自己调整到空杯的状态，包容接纳并重新审视自己，你将有可能获得巨大的改变和提升。” 谈到对同学们的祝福和期许，乌教授表示：“希望同学们不断从外部吸收新知识，打破自己经验的桎梏，内化到自己的知识体系。一步一步稳扎稳打，探索学院，探索学校，探索新加坡，探索东南亚，终具有立足亚洲，放眼全球的胸襟和气魄，愿各位可以以新国大为起点，收获知识、提升视野，在此基础上，扩大人生和事业的格局。” 宋照礼教授指出，要做好计划，利用零碎时间和事业上的空窗期，在学习上投入；锻炼体魄，全情参与戈壁一堂课沙漠挑战，在身体上投入；付出信任，收获友情，师生互长，在人脉上投入。做到这三个“投入”，定能在未来的学习中大有收获。 来自马来西亚的阚伟男同学发表了感言：“明天是我的生日，我收到了国大给我的最好的生日礼物——让我站在新的起点，开启新的人生。虽然只有一天的时间，我却从与大家的交流中收益良多，这些收获让我既兴奋又焦虑。焦虑在于，当我进入这个集体，当我身上贴上国大的标签时，我必须全力以赴，对自己生活工作要求更加严格。” EMBA 27班B班的高原谈起自己参加开学典礼的感受，感触良多。她表示：“新国大商学院EMBA的口碑和魅力让众多优秀的同学从台湾、香港、新加坡、中国大陆等地聚集一堂，我相信大家都会调整至空杯的心态，沉淀下来，虚心受教，把这个口碑从我们身上继续传承下去。”
