# 新加坡青少年引担忧

青少年自杀问题一直以来备受关注，其自杀年龄已逐渐下降。根据[新加坡](https://www.sgcn.com/)援人协会（Samaritans of Singapore, 简称SOS）近日统计，

去年共94青少年选择走上自杀的路，每10个青少年外部原因死亡案件中，有6起是自杀案件。

值得注意的是，去年少年（10-19岁）的自杀率是自1991年以来创新高！！

协会指出，整体而言，除了60岁以上的人士，去年各年龄层的自杀个案都有所增加。青少年和男性的自杀趋势尤其令人关注。

数据显示，去年共有94名、10到29岁的年轻人选择自寻短见。自杀目前仍是这个年龄段的年轻人最主要的死因。

通过援人协会的电邮辅导服务求助的人当中，超过78%年龄介于10到29岁。

协会认为：现今的青少年更强烈地意识到自己觉得孤独和无助，也比较愿意向协会、社交媒体和朋友寻求援助。

尽管如此，许多青少年在人生最黑暗的时期还是觉得无助，认为自杀是终结苦痛的唯一选择。这一点令人担忧。

他们处在一个将男子气概（masculine qualities）视为重要成功因素的社会，因此，对于显示软弱的行为是不允许的。

男性一向被定型为坚强、经济稳定的角色，一旦展现一丝丝软弱将被视为是失败的象征，

而社会将他们推向持续追求物质需求朔造成功形象，使他们与至亲之人的关系疏远，也减弱了他们的社会支持系统。

事实上，在那些写信给援人协会求助并公开年龄的人当中，就有78%以上是青少年。截至今年3月，援人协会也观察到，青少年求助者增加超过56%。

值得注意的是，年龄介于10岁至19岁的男性自杀者去年达到19人，是自1991年有记录以来最高，与2017年的七人相比，增加170%。

然而，在这个年龄层，男性寻求援人协会帮助的电话和电邮只占了30%及27%。

援人协会认为，社会认为男性必须坚强，并应具备应对一切挑战的能力等刻板印象，是阻止他们求助的障碍之一。

自杀的青少年不论年代和性别，基本上有一个共同点，就是从小缺乏爱、关注和安全感。

因此，预防自杀应从小、从家庭做起。家长的价值观会直接影响孩子的举止，而他们的行为和语言更可能在无形中给孩子带来阴影和创伤。
