新加坡国立大学研究生分课程型研究生和研究型研究生，新加坡教育部为所有研究型研究生和部分课程型研究生提供学习补助，成功申请到教育部助学金的新加坡永久居民和国际生需要签署助学金协议，并要按协议要求，毕业后在新加坡注册公司工作三年。
一、国大教育部补贴专业研究生学费：
注：从2019年开始，新加坡公民和永久居民（SPR）学生就读补贴专业研究生依然可以获得教育部助学金。国际生除下面列表中的课程到2020年不再可以申请助学金后，所有课程型补贴研究生已都不可以申请教育部助学金。

国大研究生第一学期学费在教育部助学金协议批准下来以前收取，因此学生第一学期需按全自费交付学费，助学金申批到位后，补贴用于抵消第二学期学费，也就是第二学期只需补齐助学金后学费的差额就可以。
二、无补贴专业研究生：
