雅思考试的分类

雅思考试可分为学术类和培训类：

学术类academic（A类）：适用于出国留学申请本科，研究生及以上学位，或获得专业资质。

培训类general training（G类）：英语国家移民申请(如澳大利亚，加拿大，新西兰及英国)或申请培训及非文凭类课程。

**听力**

听力部分40分钟（其中10分钟是答题）

听取四段录音，这些录音包括一些独白及对话，录音只能听一遍，但会留给考生一些时间阅读问题并记录答案。

**阅读**

阅读部分60分钟，共三篇文章，文章从书本、杂志、期刊及报纸上选取，不需读者具备专业知识。

**写作**

写作部分60分钟，包括两篇作文，Task 1和Task 2。

第一部分：要求考生根据给出的表格或图表，写一篇大约150字的文章，考查考生描述及分析数据的能力。

第二部分：要求考生针对某个问题或观点写一篇大约250字的短文，并要求考生能够使用恰当语气及语域（包括词汇、语法等）讨论问题，并展开论证。

**口语**

口语部分11-14分钟一对一与考官谈话，对谈主题非常口语化、生活化，轻松但也有一定程序，对谈大致上分三小段（不是明显的区分，中间并无间断）；

第一段：会面，寒暄一番，主考官会鼓励（引导考生）多谈谈一般话题（生活作息上、文化习惯上、个人兴趣等等），考生应勇敢发言（约4-5分钟）。

第二段：主考官抽出一张题卡，卡上写明某话题，考生有一分钟准备时间，之后须根据要求对该话题进行2分钟个人观点阐述（约3-4分钟，包括1分钟准备时间）。

第三段：考官就第二部分所提及的话题与考生进行更深入的双向讨论，或者考官就其他话题与考生进行双向讨论。此阶段讨论内容灵活各异，视情况而定（约4-5分钟）。

**新加坡考雅思的优势**

新加坡考位多，考生少，报名容易，无需等待。新加坡属于英联邦国家，多数人是不需要参加雅思考试的，所以考位没那么紧张，基本上都能顺利报上名。

相对于中国大陆地区，更容易取得高分，不存在所谓的口语“压分”现象。口语“压分”现象，已不是什么秘密了，据很多“烤鸭”们反映，国外考雅思取得的口语成绩，比在国内高个0.5-1分毫无压力。

常见Q&A

**1、IDP雅思和BC雅思有什么区别吗？**

在新加坡地区参加考试，IDP和BC的试题是一模一样的。

不同点：1）IDP雅思的口语和笔试是在同一个考场，并且笔试和口语是同一天完成的;BC的笔试和口语不一定在同一个考场，考试安排也不在同一天。2）听力部分BC用公放，IDP用耳机，显然用耳机可以减少受干扰。我校是IDP雅思考点！

**2、新加坡考试真的分数会比较高吗？**

据很多中国的“烤鸭”小伙伴表示，中国地区在口语上存在所谓的“压分”现象，所以越来越多的“烤鸭”们选择来到国外参加考试，但是小编认为，地域标准归地域标准，还是要努力将自己的水平提高喔！

**3、可以帮我们报名雅思考试吗？**

可以，无论是否我校学生，在我校参加雅思考试，我们都能帮忙报名雅思考试。

**4、我从来没有参加过雅思考试，不知道考试须知怎么办？**

不要担心，只要是我们的学生，在考试前，我们可以邀请IDP雅思的工作人员前来进行考前指导。

**5、学术类（A类）和移民类（G类）的雅思考试有什么区别呢？**

A类和G类的听力和口语使用相同的试题，阅读和写作使用不同试题。有少部分考生不清楚自己应该考雅思A类还是考雅思G类。简单的说，如果出国留学那么考A类，如果移民则考G类。A类更偏重学术，G类更偏重生活。所以可以这样说，为了移民资格或去国外工作而参加的雅思考试，为雅思G类。

雅思两种类型的考试成绩在使用时不能互换，也就是说，以移民为目的的考生必须参加普通培训类的考试，而以留学为目的的考生必须提供学术类的雅思成绩。所以，考过雅思A类的同学们，如果之后要移民，还是需要参加G类考试的。

雅思阅读考试A类文章主要来源于诸如杂志、期刊、书籍和报纸等途径，与考生未来在大学课程中将阅读到的文章极为相似。G类雅思的阅读文章以英语国家日常生活素材为基础。考试的文章将从报纸、广告、说明书及书籍中摘取，考察考生对信息的理解及运用的能力，试题包括一篇较长的描述性、而非论证性的文章。

写作方面，大作文差不多。G类小作文是书信，询问信息或解释一种情况，A类小作文是图表。
