**个人履历**

他曾在瑞士、澳大利亚、美国多家机构工作，历任苏黎世联邦理工学院教授、阿德莱德大学讲席教授等职，还曾担任新加坡第14届国会官委议员

学术上，他获新加坡国立大学生物科学学士（一等荣誉）、硕士学位，以及普林斯顿大学生态学与进化生物学博士学位

2020年，受新加坡国家研究基金会“新加坡归国科学家计划”资助，回到新加坡国立大学任职

**科研成果及荣誉**

许连斌教授聚焦保护科学、基于自然的气候解决方案等，深耕发展中热带地区环境问题研究，产出多项具有政策相关性的科研成果，是**亚洲被引用次数最高的保护科学家之一**。

他创办ConservationDrones.org，是TED全球演讲者、世界经济论坛全球青年领袖，发表多篇高影响力论文，获多项国际学术荣誉。
