10月21日，苏城外国语学校迎来了一群远道而来的小客人——来自新加坡UWC世界联合书院的30名师生到我校进行交流学习。副校长李方华先生全程参与接待。
On October 21st, Soochow Foreign Language School ushered in a group of small guests from afar - 30 teachers and students from the UWC South East Asia to exchange and study.
虽然只有短短的半天参访时间，但是精彩的课堂、友好的师生、国际化的校园环境、随处可闻的英语对话交流，让新加坡的小客人们既充满着好奇，又感到分为的亲切！
Although it was only a half-day visit, the interesting class, friendly, global campus environment and English conversation everywhere all left the students deep impression.

UWC
新加坡国际学校UWC，即东南亚世界联合学院（UWCSEA）。成立于1971年，是亚洲首家联合世界书院，在新加坡有两个校区：杜佛和淡滨尼。它被公认是新加坡以及全球的领先国际学校之一，目前在新加坡排名第一。

第一站：国学课堂
Part 1: Sinology Class
新加坡的同学们跟随小学部国学老师一起感受了一堂充满中国文化气息的国学课堂，从百家姓到三字经，再到论语，中华文化的博大精深让同学们连连称赞，学得不亦乐乎。
The students and teachers experienced Mr. Niu’s Sinology class. From the Book of Family Names to Three Character Classic, and to the Analects of Confucius, the profound Chinese culture has impressed them a lot.
第二站：升国旗
Part 2: The Flag Raising Ceremony
体验完了精彩的国学课后，新加坡的同学们来到了操场上，和苏城外全体师生一起参加了隆重的升旗仪式。
After the interesting Sinology Class, the students came to the playground to attend the flag raising ceremony with all the local students and teachers.
当国歌声奏响的那一刻，小编悄悄看到，新加坡的小伙伴们都自觉摘下帽子，无声注目著随风飘扬的五星红旗，不自觉流露出的这个小细节，表达了孩子们内心的尊重和友好！
After the interesting Sinology Class, the students came to the playground to attend the flag raising ceremony with all the local students and teachers. When the national anthem was played, I found that all the visiting students took off their hats and quietly watched the rising flag to show their respect.
嗨翻天的英语对话环节，让小伙伴们深感学校对学生语言教育的重视和用心！
And the exciting Monday English session has made them feel that the school attaches great importance to students' language education.
第三站：分班体验
Part 3: Different Class Studying
30名同学根据年级被分成了2个队伍，分别融入到我们的高中部和初中部，体验不同学部的课程。
The thirty students were divided into two teams integrated into our Junior Middle School and Senior High School to experience different courses.
一部分同学在初中部语文汪老师的带领下，一起学习了课文《散步》，领悟了尊老爱幼、珍爱亲情、珍惜生命这三点主要思想。
Year 6, 7 and 8 students studied the text "Walk" and comprehend the three main ideas of respecting the old, loving the young, loving the family, and cherishing life.
