每年农历的七月十五，被称为中元节，又被称为鬼节，是中国自古就有的一个传统节日。在这天人们烧纸钱，摆供品祭奠故去亲人的亡灵。

鬼节在全世界都有。

比如西方国家的万圣节，比如墨西哥的亡灵节，《寻梦环游记》讲述的就是它。

在中国，就是中元节前后几天，大家缅怀一下逝世的亲人。

但是到了新加坡，鬼节直接升级为一个月，从七月初一开始，“鬼门关”就开始敞开……

新加坡过鬼节的习俗可谓丰富多彩。

首先，一定要给去世的亲人送上冥币和纸扎，而且这些物品还要与时俱进，现在有啥就给他们烧啥，这算是一种心理慰藉吧。

而且这些年是烧什么的都有...笔记本电脑、楼宇大厦、麻将...只有你想不到的，没有商家做不出来的！

其次，就是中元会。

新加坡的中元会遍布庙宇、工会、街道等等。中元会在祭拜完毕，让大家一起分享祭祀的食品。

同时，会把祭拜中的物品竞标。这些物品，比如酒、摆设、风扇、微波炉等在这里被叫做福物，竞标的资金会用来做慈善。

此外，还有摆歌台。组屋楼下的草坪上戏台子一搭，歌台就成了，这是送给”好兄弟“的精神食粮。

最后不得不提的就是新加坡的鬼节禁忌：

鬼门关大开，不是所有的鬼都是好鬼。

因此，在鬼月有些禁忌不得不说。

1、不要踩到路上的祭品！

看到路边的祭品，记着一定一定一定要绕着走。本来么，人家准备下口了，你一脚上去，不管有意还是无意，这……

2、不要坐在歌台第一排！

大家一定会发现，歌台第一排都是空着的，你千万不要高兴地以为没人坐去抢，那是留给”好兄弟“的……

3、不要在晚上照相！

据说，这个时候在晚上照相，会有”好兄弟“入镜哦~

4、拖鞋头不要冲着床！

当心，有人踩着你的拖鞋爬上你的床……

5、不要捡路边的钱！

虽然新加坡政府贴心的给大家准备了烧纸钱的铁桶，但总是有不小心飘出来或被扔出来的！所以，这个这个，这个时候一定要擦亮眼睛，路边有很多超大额的票票，但是千万不要捡，不要捡，不要捡……

6、不要靠墙站！

不要靠墙站，万一伸出一只手，大家自行脑补……

7、听到别人喊名字不要回头！

听到背后有人叫你的时候，不要回头，就算要也必须整个转身，据说人的头颈和左右肩各有一盏守护灯，万一乱回头会把灯熄灭了。

8、不要乱拍别人肩膀！

因为每一个人身体上都有三把火，位于两肩及头顶上，会让鬼神不敢近身，如果用手拍熄肩上火、鬼魂就容易来找麻烦了。

9、不要在半夜低声哭泣！

孤魂野鬼听到哭声，会以为是在召唤它！

10、不要在晚上照镜子！

白天打扮给人看，晚上打扮给鬼看。晚上照镜子，万一鬼出来欣赏呢？
