背上约18公斤的新款街景背包，谷歌工作人员在牛车水大厦熟食中心步行时，背包上头的七个高清摄像头， 每两秒就能拍下360度全景影像，记录这里200多个摊位的确切位置。 本地所有114个小贩中心以及里面的超过6000个摊位，将首次被记录在谷歌街景地图中，让海内外访客在寻找本地美食、查询小贩中心和摊位时更为便利。 预计新的小贩中心街景地图将于明年初正式推出。
