7月19日，驻新加坡使馆发言人针对《海峡时报》刊登《报告显示中国如何在新加坡进行影响力操作》发表谈话，内容如下：

7月18日，《海峡时报》刊登《报告显示中国如何在新加坡进行影响力操作》（Report flags how China conducts influence operations in Singapore）的报道，

引述美国詹姆斯敦基金会近日发表的一份报告，诬称中国利用统战手段，

通过新加坡商会、宗乡会馆、文化组织和华文媒体等不同渠道对新加坡华人施加影响，

引导社会舆论和政策走向。
