# 新加坡每年丢弃价值3亿多食物，巨贵的蔬菜水果居然丢弃最多

新加坡环境理事会对大约1000人展开为期六个月的研究后公布了最新数据，新加坡本地家庭平均每年总共丢弃价值3亿4200万新元的食物。

这就相当于新加坡每个家庭丢弃了52盘椰浆饭，平均丢弃价值将近260新元的食物。

除了家庭食物上的浪费，研究也发现新加坡每年进口的200万吨食物中，有39万3000吨都是在包装、存储等过程中流失的，也就是这部分食物还没消费就已经浪费了。

而这部分食物中，流失最多的是蔬菜水果，这也和新加坡本身的状态分不开关系。

新加坡虽地处热带，却不像周围国家一样拥有富饶的土地，所以大部分蔬菜和水果都是进口的，因为储藏原因很多蔬菜水果因过期被丢弃。

食物的浪费不符合资源充分利用不说，还给新加坡的环境造成了巨大的负担。

按照新加坡目前处理废弃食物的能力和食物浪费速度计算的话，每7到10年的时间就要建设一个新的垃圾发电厂，每35年就要建立一个垃圾填埋场。

新加坡国家环境局对此研究结果曾声明，新加坡（本来就）稀缺土地资源，这样的做法实在不可以继续持续下去！

创立于2012年的新加坡食物银行就是食物的好去处，它通过与食品厂、餐饮行业合作，收集多余食品，再将其转送给志愿福利组织，以避免食物过期成为垃圾。

为了进一步减少浪费，食物银行还曾推出过“食品储藏室”计划，1新元便能买到仍能消费的食品。

中国古人云：勿以恶小而为之,勿以善小而不为，为了我们自己的福报和下一代，从今天开始加入光碟族，一起对每一次浪费说“不”。
