今天（8月7日），面对日益严重的香港局势，中国驻新加坡大使馆在Facebook上以中英双语发文： 我们对一段时间以来香港一些极端激进分子的暴力违法行径表示强烈谴责！
暴力就是暴力，绝不是某些西方政客口中的“美丽风景线”。极端激进分子悍然抗法，袭击、伤害警察，并实施纵火，手段不断翻新、烈度不断升级、破坏性不断加剧，令人触目惊心。这严重伤害警务人员和广大市民的生命财产安全，破坏香港社会秩序，是任何文明和法治社会都不会容忍的。
违法就是违法，绝不是打着“自由”、“民主”的口号可以遮掩的，也绝不是一些西方国家政府的双重标准可以粉饰的。极端激进分子冲击立法会和中央驻港机构、包围警察总部、堵塞交通要道、侮辱国旗国徽，已经远远越过了和平游行示威、自由表达意见的法律界限。这不仅是对香港法治的肆意践踏，也是对国家、民族尊严的公然冒犯，挑战“一国两制”原则底线。
香港是中国的香港。中国绝不允许任何外部势力对香港事务粗暴干涉。任何搞乱香港、扰乱中国的图谋都不会得逞。
香港是香港人的家园。保安宁、求发展是香港市民的普遍心声，香港市民绝不答应扰乱香港、伤害香港的行径，必将团结一心、共同维护香港的繁荣稳定。
中国中央政府坚决支持香港特区政府依法施政，坚决支持香港警方、有关部门和司法机构依法惩治暴力违法行为，坚决支持爱国爱港人士捍卫香港法治的行动。相信在中国中央政府的大力支持下，在林郑月娥行政长官、特区政府及广大香港市民的共同努力下，笼罩在香港上空的黑云终将被驱散，蓝天必将重现。

Regarding the recent situation in Hong Kong, the Spokesperson of the Chinese Embassy in Singapore made the following comments:We strongly condemn the violence and lawlessness in Hong Kong in the past weeks.Violence can never be justified and is by no means a "beautiful sight" as some western politicians called. Extreme radicals have blatantly violated the law by attacking the police and carrying out arson. It is shocking that their actions are becoming more and more radical, and the destructiveness is escalating. They are seriously harming the safety of the public as well as police officers, and undermining the social and economic order of Hong Kong. It is totally intolerable by any civilized society.Lawlessness has no excuse, and can not be concealed under the name of "Freedom" and "Democracy", nor can be whitewashed by the double standards of some Western governments. Extreme radicals have gone far beyond the definition of legal and peaceful demonstrations and freedom of speech by storming the Legislative Council Complex and Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government, surrounding the police headquarters, obstructing public traffic and insulting the national flag and emblem.The violence trampled on the rule of law in Hong Kong, and has blatantly offended the dignity of our country, and challenged the bottom line of the 'one country, two systems' principle.Hong Kong is China’s Hong Kong. China will never allow any foreign force to interfere in Hong Kong's affairs. Any attempt to disrupt Hong Kong and even China will doom to be in vain.Hong Kong is home to Hong Kong citizens. Peace and prosperity are their common aspirations and any harm to Hong Kong will never be tolerated. Hong Kong will be safeguarded by her citizens united.The Central Government of China firmly supports the Hong Kong SAR government in governing Hong Kong in accordance with law, and firmly supports the Hong Kong police, SAR departments and judiciary in punishing violent and illegal actions. It’s believed that with the strong support of the Central Government and the joint efforts of Chief Executive Carrie Lam, the SAR government and the Hong Kong citizens, the dark clouds over Hong Kong will eventually be dispersed and the blue sky will be restored.
