個人履歷
1983年，沈祖堯教授獲香港大學醫學學士學位，正式開啟醫學之路
深造期間，先後於卡爾加里大學攻讀並獲得生物醫學博士學位、於香港中文大學攻讀並獲得醫學博士學位
博士畢業後，長期深耕醫學與科研一線，兼具臨床、教學與科研能力，歷任多個重要學術與行政職務

科研成果
科研上，他證實幽門螺桿菌與消化性潰瘍的關聯，首創一周抗生素根除療法及內鏡止血技術，革新全球胃腸病診療模式；牽頭亞太15國結直腸癌篩查研究，制定篩查指南。
近年來拓展至腸道微生物組及人工智慧臨床應用研究，發表論文超1000篇，連續三年入選「高被引科學家」，編撰多部醫學典籍。
