新鈔濃縮了新加坡開埠200年的歷史

正面是新加坡首任總統尤索夫·伊沙克(Yusof Ishak)的肖像，

以及當時的最高法院和市政廳（現在是新加坡國家美術館）。

背面則印著19世紀初，來到新加坡的8位先驅人物。

新鈔的右下角代表最初開埠時舟車繁忙、欣欣向榮的新加坡，

左邊則是如今摩天大廈鱗次櫛比的金融中心新加坡。

古今被一條彎彎的新加坡河串聯起來，象徵著歷史源遠流長。
