# 新加坡《開埠兩百年》展覽活動再現新加坡發展史

2019年，正是新加坡開埠的200周年。

為此，新加坡舉辦有一系列的活動，

其中《開埠兩百年》展覽是活動的重頭戲。

該展覽預計9月中旬後結束。

在新加坡，「萊佛士」是一個非常重要的存在。

1819年，英國殖民時期政治家史丹福·萊佛士登陸新加坡，

說服柔佛蘇丹允許英國東印度公司在新加坡設立自由港，

成為新加坡歷史上的重要轉折點。

該展覽以反思的形式敘述新加坡的發展歷程，

並追溯到英國人1819年登陸前的500年。

展覽包括兩個部分，分為在室內舉行的「時空旅者」多媒體秀，

和「歷史尋蹤」戶外體驗。

「時空旅者」位於福康寧藝術中心，

分為五幕再現新加坡歷史。

其中第五幕是全場壓軸表演。

參觀者在雨水的包圍下，

見證新加坡如何在二戰後浴火重生，

通過水特效展現新加坡的建設成就。

「這不是一個慶祝，而是一個紀念。」

新加坡人力部長及開埠200年工作組主席楊莉明表示，

開埠的正確定位是轉折點，而不是新加坡歷史的起點。

新加坡歷史的起點應該追溯到700年前。

在展望未來的過程中，

她希望新加坡在歷史中吸取教訓。
