The government offers a variety of monetary incentives to both corporates and individuals. One example of this lies within the tax code: tax incentives for new startups and family offices.

初創企業有兩種主要的補助：**新加坡創業家補助**和**新加坡科技創業家補助**。

There are two main startup grants: Startup SG Founder and Startup SG Tech.

These grants not only provide capital of S$50,000 to first time entrepreneurs, but also mentorship.There are a variety of requirements that must be met to be eligible to receive this grant. Requirements include the following: must be a Singapore citizen or permanent resident, have at least 2 applicants who are first time founders, are key decision makers, are not employed externally, work full time for the company, have undergone entrepreneurship training, and hold equity in the company (minimum 30% collectively).

In addition to startup grants, there are various grants that are sector specific and non-sector specific.Nearly every category has multiple grant options in order to maximize your business potential and promote expansion.

Aside from encouraging business development, the Singapore government also supports self-development. There are a variety of individual grants available through the Singapore government available to individuals that meet certain criteria. The enhanced bursaries cover up to 75% of subsidized general degree tuition fees for full-time undergraduates, and up to 95% of the subsidized tuition fees for full-time polytechnic diploma students.

Singapore’s corruption perception index ranks number five in the world, meaning that Singapore is the fifth best country in the world with regard to low public sector corruption (as of July 2023).

**基礎設施和語言** **Infrastructure and Language**

**安全與工作簽證** **Safety and Work Visas**

新加坡人力部（Ministry of Manpower，簡稱MOM）通過多種類型的工作簽證來優先推動經濟增長。

The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) prioritizes economic growth through many different types of work visas. 

工作簽證主要分為四類：**專業人士、技術和半技術工人、實習生和學生以及豁免類別**。

There are four main categories of work visas: professionals, skilled and semi-skilled workers, trainees and students, and exemptions. 

在專業人士類別下，有就業准證（Employment Pass）、創業准證（Entrepass）、個性化就業准證（Personalized Employment Pass）和頂級專才准證（Overseas Networks & Expertise Pass）。

Under the professional category, there is an Employment Pass, Entrepass, Personalized Employment Pass, and Overseas Networks & Expertise Pass.

The Employment Pass is for foreign professionals, managers, and executives that earn at least S$5,000 per month.

The Personalized Employment Pass is given to high earning existing Employment Pass holders or overseas foreign professionals and offers more flexibility than the Employment Pass.
