7月19日，駐新加坡使館發言人針對《海峽時報》刊登《報告顯示中國如何在新加坡進行影響力操作》發表談話，內容如下：

7月18日，《海峽時報》刊登《報告顯示中國如何在新加坡進行影響力操作》（Report flags how China conducts influence operations in Singapore）的報道，

引述美國詹姆斯敦基金會近日發表的一份報告，誣稱中國利用統戰手段，

通過新加坡商會、宗鄉會館、文化組織和華文媒體等不同渠道對新加坡華人施加影響，

引導社會輿論和政策走向。
