新加坡，全稱為新加坡共和國

（英語： Republic of Singapore）

,新加坡有77％的人口是華人,也就意味著漢語應該是新加坡的第一大語言,雖然漢語和英語,馬來語,泰米爾語一同被列為新加坡的官方語言,事實上,在新加坡以漢語為母語的家庭越來越少,有一個重要原因,就是學校不重視母語教育。大家張口而來的主要還是英語。
