一、自2019年6月1日起，全國公安機關出人境管理部門開始簽發新版外國人簽證、團體簽證和居留許可，同時停止簽發現行版本簽證、經濟特區旅遊簽證、團體簽證和外國人居留許可。經濟特區旅遊簽證業務使用新版簽證製作簽發。 二、新版外國人簽證、團體簽證和居留許可為參照國際民航組織DOC9303機讀旅行證件有關標準設計製作的貼紙式證件，採用多項物理防偽技術，新版簽證和外國人居留許可增加列印持證人彩色相片。 三、新版外國人簽證、團體簽證和居留許可啟用後，各類證件的申請條件和渠道審批程序和標準、收費項目和標準以及查驗要求等均保持不變。此前簽發的證件在有效期內可繼續正常使用。
