為會計學和數據分析專業優秀學子提供獎學金支持，
本屆獎學金的獲得者是 SMU MSA 專業學生

Within SOA we decided to launch this Master Programme-The Master of Science in Accounting with specialisation on Data Analytics. We hope to produce graduates who specialise in Accounting or Finance, and also have the ability to analyse data.
我們會計學院決定推出這個專注於數據分析的財務大數據碩士，我們的願景是培養在財務或者金融領域的專才，他們同時也具備分析數據的能力。

My name is David Djapri and I』m a student in the Master of Science in Accounting (Data & Analytics). "I am honoured to receive the UOB-SMU MSA Scholarship, to be recognised by my professors, as well as a prestigious company such as UOB. I choose to enrol in the MSA Programme because I find that the Accounting and Finance world is transforming.
For an accountant to be relevant today, I think you need at least Data Analytics skills to help companies achieve their strategic goals."
我的名字叫葉建明， 是一名新大財務大數據分析碩士的學生。"能夠獲得大華銀行-新大財務大數據碩士獎學金， 我感到十分的榮幸。這項榮譽也代表了自己已經受到教授以及像大華銀行這樣久負盛名的企業的肯定。我選擇就讀財務大數據碩士這個項目是因為我發覺到會計和金融的世界正在發生改變。
我認為作為一名會計師要跟上當今的步伐，至少需要具備數據分析的技能，才能幫助企業去達成他們的戰略目標。"

Zhang Tongtong（張彤彤）
My name is Zhang Tongtong, I』m very excited about receiving this scholarship. The programme actually exceeds my expectations. (It has)a good combination of different areas. Through this courses I can learn different thinking patterns and that can actually show me how a problem can be solved in different methods.
我叫張彤彤，能獲得這個獎學金我感到非常的興奮，財務大數據分析碩士這個項目超出了我的期望，它很好的融合了各種不同方面的元素。通過這些課程，我能學習到不同的思維方式，這讓我了解到如何用不同方法去解決問題。

My hope for the two students is that they will be the bridge between the Finance department of UOB and the data management department of UOB, because the market is looking for students who are specialised in both Accounting, Finance and also Data Technology.
我希望這兩位獲得獎學金的同學能夠成為大華銀行的財務部門和數據管理部門的橋樑，這是因為當今就業市場正在尋找既懂得會計、金融和數據科技，又能有效與各部門溝通的專業人才。

What I would like to say to the scholars is it is a fantastic opportunity. Right now, the industry is in really high demand for people of skills such as functional but also very technical data skills. The UOB-SMU MSA Scholarship from a student perspective will benefit them in a couple of ways.
One, is for the students it gives them certainty post-graduation. So not only during the Programme they get to intern with companies like UOB, but post-graduation they will also can find certainty in employment.
Another aspect for the students as well is that from the industry perspective, we have a high demand in the resources today, if not yesterday. The unique combination will set these students up for the future.
我要對這兩位獎學金得主說的是，這是個絕佳的機會。當下整個行業對精通業務，同時也具備數據處理能力的人才，有很大的需求。
從學生的角度來說，大華銀行-新大財務大數據碩士獎學金能多方面讓他們受益，其一是能為他們在研究生課程畢業後開啟就業之門，所以學習期間他們不但能夠進入大華銀行進行實習，他們也可以在畢業之後獲得就業機會。
從學生與業界的角度來說，當下，我們正需要能夠同時駕馭會計、金融、與數據分析的人才。財務大數據碩士的獨特課程能讓學生更有自信地面對未來，迎接挑戰。
