大士南林荫道末端的“大士1号灯柱”，就是本岛西部的海角天涯了。谷歌地图上显示“Tuas Lamp Post 1”，吸引不少骑行爱好者到此一游，在灯柱黏上贴纸打卡。
三年前时任交通部长王乙康发文表示不清除大士1号灯柱贴纸，换言之让骑行人士“合法犯法”。或许政府借此传达其包容性，接受无伤大雅的街头文化的信息；亦让灯柱散发些许人情味，为骑行运动增添乐趣。或许您心中也有同样的问号，边城海角变幻时，1号灯柱是否还是“海角1号”?
