The strategic objective of the M.Arch programme is to prepare students for a professional career in architecture in a rapidly changing global context, with experiences developed from Singapore and international perspectives.
Master of Landscape Architecture
學制：2年
The Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) is offered as a two-year, full-time degree programme. It is distinctively Asian and pantropical in its geographic attention, and urban in its emphasis. We aim to provide a landscape architecture education that is sensitive to the myriad challenges facing Asian cities, as well as opportunities provided by the sheer richness of heritage and cultural, socio-economic and ecological elements of the region. As a research intensive university, we adopt a research centric approach our teaching, necessitated by the constant evolution of the knowledge domains the field encompasses. Design is a core emphasis, but it is grounded in socio-cultural sensitivities, ecological knowledge and grasp of emergent technologies and techniques. Our location in Singapore, with its diversity of culture and cosmopolitan outlook, and where urban greening is a cornerstone of its urban development approach, provides an enriching backdrop to our training of landscape architects.
Master of Arts (Urban Design)
學制：1年
The Master of Arts (Urban Design) program is a one-year intensive course that aims to inculcate in graduates the ability to study the city in more complex and inclusive terms and to design successful urban spaces that take into careful consideration current and future users based on an understanding of a wide range of issues including those impinging on economics, ecology, sociology, environmental psychology, technology, urban geography, cultural theory to real estate.
Master of Urban Planning
學制：2年
The Master of Urban Planning (MUP) is a two-year, full-time, multidisciplinary programme that seeks to equip the graduates with all the necessary spatial design and intellectual skills to be the urban planning professionals who will meet the challenges of a rapidly urbanising world.
