「AI for All」 competition officially launched in Guangxi, China and opens registration for communities in China and ASEAN
人工智慧，是時代浪潮，更是深化中國—東協合作的智慧紐帶。7月19日，由中國廣西壯族自治區人民政府主辦的AI賦能千行百業超級聯賽（以下簡稱「AI超級聯賽」）在南寧啟動。有關部門、重點高校、科研院所、行業協會、知名企業、投資機構和參賽團隊代表及東協國家駐華使節代表等各界嘉賓齊聚一堂，共同見證這一AI領域的創新賽事。
Artificial intelligence is the wave of the times, and it is also the intelligent link to deepen the cooperation between China and ASEAN. On July 19, the China-ASEAN AI Competition for All Industries (hereinafter referred to as 「AI for All」 competition), which is organized by the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China, was launched in Nanning. Guests from all walks of life, including representatives of relevant departments, key universities, research institutes, industry associations, well-known enterprises, investment organizations and participating teams, as well as diplomatic envoys of ASEAN countries to China, gathered together to witness this innovative event in the field of AI.
本次大賽以「AI廣西 AI中國 AI東協」為主題，由政企校多方共同辦賽，致力於打造一場國際性、專業性、高水平的「AI超級聯賽」，賽事亮點紛呈，主要突出五大特點。
With the theme of 「AI Guangxi, AI China, AI ASEAN」, the competition, hosted by the government, enterprises and universities, is committed to creating an international, professional, and high-level 「AI for All」 competition. The competition highlights the following five characteristics.
參賽主體多元化。大賽面向中國和東協各界開放報名，包括行業頭部企業、初創團隊、科研院所、個人開發者等，特別鼓勵與東協國家聯合組隊，不設參賽門檻，形成跨區域、跨行業的多元參賽格局。
The participants are diverse. The competition is open to all sectors in China and ASEAN, including industry leading enterprises, start-up teams, research institutes, and individual developers, especially joint teams with ASEAN countries, with no entry threshold, forming a diversified participation pattern across regions and industries.
賽道設置多樣化。大賽根據行業特點設置了三大賽事類型，以滿足不同群體參賽需求。一是「場景突圍」應用創新賽，重點解決人工智慧技術在汽車、文旅、教育等17個重點細分行業場景的落地應用；二是「揭榜挂帥」產業命題賽，重點圍繞制約產業發展的關鍵問題定向「發榜」，突破一批「卡脖子」技術難題；三是「AI大家創」全民挑戰賽，重點激發全民參與應用AI的積極性，面向社會公眾廣泛開放，探索AI賦能千行百業的未來場景。
The competition tracks are designed in a variety of ways. The competition has set up three major types of events based on industry characteristics to meet the needs of different groups. The first is the 「scene breakthrough」 application innovation contest, focusing on solving the application of AI technology in 17 key industry segments such as automotive, culture and tourism, and education; the second is the open contest for best candidates, focusing on releasing the lists to seek solutions to the key issues constraining the development of the industry and make breakthroughs in a batch of 「critical technology」 obstacles; the third is the public challenge contest, which focuses on stimulating the enthusiasm of all people to participate in the application of AI, and is open to the public to explore the future scenarios of AI empowering all industries.
獎項設置精準化。大賽設置了「綜合類+專業賽道」雙類獎項，更好體現AI技術成果的創新水平、應用成效和經濟社會貢獻度。綜合類獎項聚焦標杆示範，設置「極具潛力企業」「AI賦能典範企業」「面向東協的未來獨角獸企業」等特色獎項；專業賽道獎項由主辦單位自主設置，突出行業特性。
The awards are set up in a precise manner. The competition has set up two categories of awards, namely 「Comprehensive Award + Professional Track Award」, to better reflect the innovation level, application effectiveness and economic and social contribution of AI technological achievements. With an emphasis on the benchmarking and demonstration role of the enterprises, comprehensive awards include special prizes such as 「highly promising enterprises」, 「AI-enabled model enterprises」 and 「ASEAN-oriented future unicorn enterprises」. Professional track awards are independently set by the organizers to highlight the characteristics of the industry.
創新資源成果化。大賽引入行業頭部企業技術帶頭人、頂尖專家團隊深度參與賽事設計，邀請權威專家機構組成陣容強大的評審主席團，邀請投資機構參與賽事活動，推動優質項目與資本賽前、賽中、賽後無縫銜接；建立「賽事選拔—資源對接—產業孵化」跟蹤機制，將優秀作品結合中國—東協博覽會相關活動進行專題路演和展示，支持參賽團隊成果優先落地廣西，讓更多競技成果轉化為現實生產力。
The innovative resources are transformed into achievements. The competition introduces leading technologists from top companies in the industry and top expert teams to deeply participate in the design of the competition, invites authoritative expert institutions to form a strong judging panel and investment institutions to participate in the competition, and promotes seamless connection between high-quality projects and capital before, during, and after the competition. It also establishes a tracking mechanism for selection, resource docking, and industry incubation, combines excellent works with relevant activities of the China-ASEAN Expo for special roadshows and exhibitions, supports participating teams to prioritize applying their achievements in Guangxi, and transforms more competitive achievements into real productivity.
本次大賽的評審主席團陣容強大，匯聚多位國際頂尖專家。其中，同濟大學黨委書記、中國工程院院士鄭慶華，香港科技大學校董會主席、美國國家工程院外籍院士沈向洋，新加坡工程院院士、南洋理工大學校長講席教授文勇剛，中華全國工商業聯合會副主席、奇安信集團董事長齊向東，語音及語言信息處理國家工程研究中心主任、科大訊飛董事長劉慶峰，紅杉中國投資合伙人、紅杉碳中和研究院院長李俊峰，人民網董事長、傳播內容認知全國重點實驗室主任葉蓁蓁等7位主席團成員，來到啟動儀式現場分享了關於人工智慧的真知灼見，點燃廣西「AI超級聯賽」創新引擎。
The judging panel of this competition has a strong lineup, gathering many top international experts. Among them, Zheng Qinghua, Secretary of the CPC Tongji University Committee and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Shen Xiangyang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Foreign Academician of the National Academy of Engineering of USA, Wen Yonggang, Academician of the Singapore Academy of Engineering, President and Chair Professor of Nanyang Technological University, Qi Xiangdong, Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and Chairman of QAX Group, Liu Qingfeng, Director of the National Engineering Research Center of Speech and Language Information Processing of China and Chairman of iFLYTEK, Li Junfeng, Venture Partner of HongShan Capital Group and Chairman of the Sequoia Institute for Carbon Neutrality, and Ye Zhenzhen, Chairman of People’s Daily Online and Director of the State Key Laboratory of Communication Content Cognition, came to the launch ceremony to share the insight into AI and ignited the innovation engine of 「AI for All」 competition in Guangxi.
同時，在中國北京、上海、杭州、深圳、香港特別行政區和泰國曼谷、馬來西亞吉隆坡等7個城市，來自科研院所、知名企業的代表，也共同參與了「AI超級聯賽」啟動儀式。
At the same time, representatives from research institutes and well-known enterprises in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in China, Bangkok in Thailand, and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia also participated in the launch ceremony of 「AI for All」 competition.
今年以來，廣西搶抓人工智慧發展機遇，高效銜接國際國內資源和市場，已發布16個「人工智慧+」行動開放場景清單，統籌開展廣西「人工智慧+」產業招商行動，積極打造一批標誌性智能產品和垂直領域示範應用場景，推動小而特、小而美、小而精的人工智慧創新產品和服務項目落地集聚，期待與東協各國攜手，一起開創人工智慧時代的美好未來，實現互利共贏、共同發展。
Since the beginning of this year, Guangxi has seized the opportunity for the development of artificial intelligence, efficiently connected international and domestic resources and markets, and released a list of 16 open scenarios for the 「Artificial Intelligence+」 Initiative. It has coordinated the promotion of industry investment attraction for Guangxi 「Artificial Intelligence+」, actively created a number of iconic intelligent products and vertical demonstration application scenarios, and promoted the application and aggregation of small in scale but unique, well-designed and refined artificial intelligence innovative products and service projects. It is expected to work together with ASEAN countries to create a better future in the era of artificial intelligence, and achieve mutual benefit and common development.
