写作的六个关键点
一定要留意
一.时态的表达方法
时态的学习我们从最初学习英语就开始了，但是可能同学们从未意识到的一点是：时态，除了在我们初高中英语课本上学习的“什么时间用什么时态”之外，还有一项重要作用：时态带出时间。
1.现在我们总比过去好的多。
Anyway, things are much better than before.
(than before自然就是今昔对比，不用再有at present)
2.上海，目前完全有条件搞的更快一点。
Shanghai is another example. It has all the necessary conditions for faster progess.
(同理)
3.当前，全世界都在关注着我国的改革。
The whole word is watching the reforms in our country.
(is watching现在进行时，“当前”可以省了)
4.未来经济发展在很大程度上取决于......
The development of our economy in the futurewill, to a large extent depend on…The development of our economy will depend on a large extent on….、
(对比两句，will就是将来，所以in the future的时间表示可以去了)
5.过去两个超级大国主宰世界，现在情况变了。
The worldused tobe dominated by two superpowers. Now things have changed.

6.过去没有人知道淮河能够徒步的......
Nobody had ever known that one could walk across the …...

二.数的表达方法
1.我们应该采取一系列措施......
We should adopta series ofmeasures to ensure that…We should adopt measures to ensure that...
(measures一个复数即是很多的意思，a series of 可以不要)
2.在这一时期，多种物资的供应严重缺乏。
Throughout this period, there was severe shortage ofa great variety of goods.
Throughout this period, there was severe supplies shortage.

3.深入实际工作对找到各种问题的解决办法十分重要。
Plunging yourselves into practical work is very important for you to find solutions toall sorts of problems.
To solve these problems, it is important that you plunge yourself into practical work.
(同理)
三.动词性重复
1986年，国家教育委员会，卫生部文件：外国留学生和研究学者，须做艾滋病检查，对坚持不接受检查，且劝说无效的，不得安排学习。
The 1986 document of the state education commission and MOH states: foreign students, researchers, and scholars must undergo an AIDS test; persons who refuse and cannot beto do somay not be accepted for studies.
(请注意对于“坚持不接受检查，且劝说无效”直接一个so,简单清晰，如果让大家写，是不是有是一大串定语从句了呢)
四.名词性重复
最后，20年来，中国发生了很大变化，包括中国的权利系统和中国的法律制度，但是，发生在中国的权利系统和法律制度方便的变化却并没有像有些人说的那么大，甚至可以说，在这方面没有发生本质性的变化，这就是中国官方说的政治体制改革滞后的问题。

五.用其他名词做总结
坚持紧急建设必须依靠科学技术，科学技术工作必须面向经济建设的原则，促进科技与经济的有机结合。

六.省略汉语中的范畴词
名词性范畴，动词性范畴。
先科普一下什么是范畴词：范畴词是指汉语命名中倾向于加范畴的词语，如 问题、状态、情况、工作，有时本身没有实质的意义，翻译时可以省去不译。
比如“贫富差距的问题”，如果直译为“the problem regarding the wealth gap” 并没有错，但比较啰嗦，因为差距本身就是一个问题，因此在翻译中可将范畴词“问题”删除，下面请看例子：
1.计划工作
a serious mistake in the work of planninga serious mistake in planning
2.密切合作的关系
to ensure a relationship of close cooperation between…to ensure close cooperation between...
3.铺张浪费的行为
we must oppose the practice of extravagancewe must oppose extravagance
4.采取......的态度
we must adopt the attitude of …..
we should admit …..
七.消除同义重复出现
这是通向富裕和繁荣的唯一出路。
This is the only road leading to affluence and prosperity.
