2.研究方面
作為一所頂尖大學，研究是南洋理工大學不可分割的一部分。南洋理工大學有充滿活力的研究文化，並且已經在高級材料、生物醫學工程、清潔能源與環境、計算生物學、智能系統、納米技術和無線寬頻通訊等領域建立起了國際名聲。
有強力的研究文化引發了許多堪稱世界第一的發明。為了繼續在最高水準層面上做出貢獻並實現超越，南洋理工學院藉助高等研究所已經組成了諾貝爾獎獲得者顧問小組。
Research TechnoPlaza則是南洋理工大學是研究中心，有四個跨學科研究廊道和十個研究中心。
研究在學院內部和各種合作項目中展開。此外，研究也在各個層面展開，並且學校有一個特殊針對優秀本科生的項目。
四、校園設施
Chinese Heritage
The Chinese Heritage Centre (CHC) was founded in 1995 to advance knowledge and understanding of the ethnic Chinese communities in different parts of the world. Established as a non-profit organization, the Centre’s work is guided by an international Board of Governors. The current Board Chairman is Professor Su Guaning, President Emeritus of Nanyang Technological University. The Centre’s Deputy Chairman is Professor Wang Gungwu, Chairman of the East Asian Institute, National University of Singapore and former Vice Chancellor of the University of Hong Kong.
· Centre NTU Museum
The aim of the NTU Art & Heritage Museum is to foster a strong appreciation of art and heritage as an integral part of a well-rounded education and to inspire the highest achievement in artistic and creative expression amongst staff and students. As a university museum, it also aims to build up a reference collection that supports research work and academic programmes in art, media, design, the humanities, social sciences and science and technology.
Sports & Recreation
The Sports and Recreation Centre caters to the sporting and recreation needs of the university community. We aim to provide a complete learning experience for our students as we believe that participation in competitive sports and recreation activities form an integral part of university education.
Health Care
The medical centre on campus is operated by Fullerton Healthcare Group.
There are some private clinics that are located in the vicinity of the campus.
Clubs & Communities
NTU provides rich opportunities for groups and communities to form and grow. This not only helps propagate our culture but also provides a platform to share knowledge and experiences.
Currently, there are more than 100 student organizations in NTU. They fall into these categories:

· Junior Common Room Committees
NTU also supports the forming and organisation of student activities.
華裔館
華裔館成立於1995年，旨在增進人們對分別在世界各地的華人社區的了解和理解。華裔館是一個非盈利組織，其工作由國際理事會指導。目前的理事會主席是徐冠林教授，他同時是南洋理工大學的榮譽校長。華裔館副主席是王賡武教授，兼任東亞研究所和新加坡國立大學董事長，也是香港大學前任副校長。
中心南大博物館
中心南大藝術遺產博物館的目標是培養強有力的藝術和遺產鑑賞力(藝術遺產鑑賞力是通識教育的有機組成部分)，鼓勵教員和學生追求最高水平的藝術和創藝表達。作為大學博物館，中心南大博物館也致力於收藏參考物品，藉以支持學校在藝術、媒體、設計、人文、社科和科技等領域的研究工作和學術項目。
體育和文娛中心
體育和文娛中心旨在滿足南洋理工大學學生的體育和文娛需求。我們的目標是為我們的學生提供完整的學習體驗，因為我們相信競技體育和娛樂活動是大學教育的有機組成部分。
醫療保健中心
醫療保健中心就在校園內，由富勒頓保健護理集團運營。
俱樂部和社區
南洋理工大學為群體和社會提供許許多多的聚集和成長的機會。這些俱樂部和社區不僅可以幫助宣傳我們的文化，而且可以提供共享知識和體驗的平台。
目前，南洋理工大學有100多個學生組織。這些組織分為三類：
學生會及其附屬俱樂部;俱樂部和社團;初級公共空間委員會。
此外，南洋理工大學也支持學生活動。
五、著名校友
南洋理工大學以及其前身南洋大學之校友表現優秀，該校校友在新加坡黨政軍三界位居要職，諸多新加坡國會議員如Inderjit Singh， Teo Ser Luck, Low Yen Ling， Low Thia Khiang，Ang Mong Seng，Zaqy Mohamad 。

孫燕姿：歌手泳兒：歌手沈冰：中央電視台主持人吳天勝：世界記憶大師，中國第一位世界記憶冠軍，2014年參加江蘇衛視《最強大腦》。
