首先，根據中國簽證的類型，外國人來中國探親可以辦理的簽證有四種。分別是：

因家庭團聚申請赴中國居留的中國公民的家庭成員，和具有中國永久居留資格的外國人的家庭成員，以及因寄養等原因申請入境居留的人員

2、Q2簽證：
赴中國短期（不超過180日）探親的居住在中國境內的中國公民的親屬和具有中國永久居留資格的外國人的親屬
2. Q2 Visa:
Relatives of Chinese citizens living in China and relatives of foreigners with permanent residence status in China who visit their relatives in China for a short period (not exceeding 180 days)
3、S1簽證：
赴中國長期（超過180日）探親的因工作、學習等事由在中國境內居留的外國人的配偶、父母、未滿18周歲的子女、配偶的父母，以及因其他私人事務需要在中國境內居留的人員

一、申請材料

2、簽證申請表及照片：1份《中華人民共和國簽證申請表》及1張粘貼在申請表上的近期、正面、彩色（淺色背景）護照照片
3、原中國護照或原中國簽證（適用於曾有中國國籍，後加入外國國籍者）

如系家庭團聚事由，須提供：

1、居住在中國境內的中國公民或具有中國永久居留資格的外國人或因工作、學習等事由在中國境內居留的外國人，邀請函須包含以下內容：
（1）被邀請人訪問信息：來華事由、擬抵達日期、擬居留地點、擬居留期限、與邀請人關係、費用來源等；
（2）邀請人信息：邀請人姓名、聯繫電話、地址、邀請人簽字等。
1. For Chinese citizens residing in China or foreigners with permanent residence status in China or foreigners residing in China for work, study or other reasons, the invitation letter shall contain the following contents:
